A spicy paste used in Tunisia and Libya, made from chili peppers and garlic, often with coriander, cumin and cumin (cumin) and/or added olive oil. It may also contain tomatoes. It can also be in the form of powder or a mixture of the above ingredients to be ground in a mill. A traditional addition to dishes of Tunisian cuisine and other Maghreb countries. Harissa is usually sold in tubes and cans (paste), but also in mills and bags (dry form). It is mainly used as an addition to couscous, pasta, sandwiches and soups.
